KEMPINSKI CIRAGAN PALACE

The 19th-century Ottoman Palace on the western shore of the Bosphorus, originally designed by the Balyan Brothers, faced significant damage from a fire in 1910. Restoration efforts began in 1987, aiming to revive the palace. To achieve this, Ciragan Palace was transformed into a luxury hotel resort, catering to an exclusive international tourist and business clientele. A new addition, harmonizing with the original structure, was built to house a 300-room hotel and additional facilities.
The design focused on restoring the old palace, creating a Sultan Suite, eleven VIP suites, a Turkish Hammam, a health club, spa, shopping arcade, bars, restaurants, meeting rooms, conference facilities, exhibition space, and a ballroom. A linear terrace along the Bosphorus shore offers outdoor catering and function facilities, while redesigned gardens feature new fountains and an infinity pool, providing a captivating experience where past and present converge in a magical setting.
