St. George Hospital, established in 1878 as Lebanon’s oldest non-profit community hospital, has evolved into a leading medical center for the region. Owned by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut, it remains dedicated to providing quality healthcare without discrimination. Phase 1, completed in 2004, added a 15-story extension with 200 beds, modern facilities, and a helipad. Phase 2 involves rehabilitating an existing 1968 building to expand capacity to 400 beds, while Phase 3 focuses on a 9-story underground structure for parking, a conference center, and offices.
